Iowa Respite and Crisis Care Coalition will be closing it's doors as of October 1, 2009. If you would like to make a contribution to support respite services in the State of Iowa, we would recommend that you make a contribution to the following organization:
The Family Resource Center will be Iowa's State Point of Contact for new lifespan respite funding. They will not be offering respite grants at this time however will be willing to help you find respite services in your community and will be working to continue the training programs that Iowa Respite and Crisis Care Coalition previously offered.

Iowa Respite and Crisis Care would like to especially thank those who have supported the coalition over the years through membership dues, grant resources, individual contributions and volunteering. Thanks to your support we were able to help thousands of Iowan's get a break from caring for a loved one with special needs or was in a crisis.
